Dick King to step down from MAEDC – Organization in final discussions with interim director.

A long-time economic leader in Missoula is retiring.

Dick King has served as President and CEO of the Missoula Area Economic Development Corporation http://www.maedc.org (MAEDC) since 2000.

"It’s the right time for me and the right thing to do," said King. "I’m still looking at some things I can do and some opportunities and I’ll stay in Missoula in the transition for a community-wide economic development effort. I’ll lend my best effort to that and then enjoy this community."
