Governor Schweitzer Gives Session Update – Montana has over $355 Million in Bank

Today Governor Brian Schweitzer offered an update on the legislative session after the Legislative Fiscal Division increased its revenue projection by $97 million.

"For the last year the data has shown Montana’s economy is growing and is on track," said Governor Schweitzer. "My administration has continued to say, there is money for Montana’s priorities and to continue to maintain a large savings account."

Montana has over $355 million in the bank today. In December the Office of Budget and Program Planning projected revenue to increase $164 million while the LFD just today projected an increase today of $97 million.
