Westminster Presents 2011 "Lectures in Entrepreneurship" Lineup

Westminster College’s Institute for New Enterprise is proud to present the fourth season of the Lectures in Entrepreneurship series. All lectures are held on Wednesday evenings in the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business Auditorium. The lectures are free and open to the public.

The Lectures in Entrepreneurship series, an MBA class that is also open to public, brings successful entrepreneurs from the community to discuss critical issues relevant to his or her business, including: developing the idea, validating the concept, planning the venture, raising funds, building a team, launching the company, sales and marketing, customer service, growing the business, and the keys to success.

"The course is designed to illustrate various ways people can go into business for themselves, highlight the common keys to entrepreneurial success and create networking opportunities for our students," said Dr. Michael Glauser, director of Westminster’s Institute of New Enterprise. "The course allows us to bridge the gap between textbook theory and real-world practice, which is an important aspect of our teaching philosophy in the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business."
