C3 call center in Twin Falls lays off 100 workers

C3 fired 100 employees at its Twin Falls call center Thursday morning, while saying it may rehire them within one to three months.

Alicia Laszewski, C3 vice president of communications, traveled from Florida to tell the 100 employees they were laid off.

Laszewski said those employees would be given first consideration for rehiring, which may begin within 30 to 90 days. She said the company gave the 100 employees checks for their work through Thursday, plus reimbursement for vacation days, and denied that anyone received severance checks.
