Hillsboro, Oregon donates $250,000 to the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network to kick-start new catalyst fund

Thanks to a $250,000 grant from Hillsboro http://www.ci.hillsboro.or.us/ , the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network http://www.oen.org/ is forming the OEN Catalyst Fund, the network announced today.
The fund will promote economic development and job creation by helping companies grow from concept to the "growth stage."
In a statement, Hillsboro Mayor Jerry Willey http://www.ci.hillsboro.or.us/CityCouncil/MayorCouncilors/MayorJerryWilley.aspx said the city offered the money to help early-stage companies get off the ground.
