Intel Science Talent Search 2011 Finalists Announced!

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Intel and Society for Science & the Public announced the 40 Intel STS Finalists http://www.societyforscience.org/page.aspx?pid=728 who will come to Washington, D.C. in March to participate in final judging, display their work to the public, meet with notable scientists, and compete for the top award of $100,000.

These Finalists were selected from 300 Semifinalists http://www.societyforscience.org/page.aspx?pid=710 and 1,744 total applicants in 2011. The top winners will be announced on March 15.
