Texas State ramps up entrepreneurial education, resources

Texas State University-San Marcos’ Office of Commercialization and Industry Relations has expanded efforts to launch new ventures through RampCorp http://www.txstate.edu/rampcorp/about.html , a new incubation and education program for current and future entrepreneurs.

A team of investors, executives, inventors and entrepreneurs will train participants how to launch or accelerate scalable ventures, which are not limited to technology companies. This means building businesses that provide great economic return to communities by creating jobs; providing the participants the opportunity to succeed and the ability to implement their visions beyond their own labor; and building companies to serve a national or international market.

Besides instruction, RampCorp participants receive weekly access to the coaching team, support from fellow participants and customized incubation services.
