Media Arts in Public Schools (MAPS) produces PSA for Ravalli County Public Health Department

One of the goals of the Ravalli County Public Health Department is to educate about the services it provides. To help with this, the department has reached out to a local high school media program.

Media Arts in Public Schools http://www.mapsmediainstitute.com/ , a program that teaches high school students about filmmaking and production, created a nine-minute documentary, 30-second public service announcement and an informational pamphlet for the health department’s campaign.

The videos will make their public premiere on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the county commissioners’ office.

"Public health is really important, regardless of one’s take on health care," said Peter Rosten, MAPS president. "What the health department felt was that our best service would be to boost awareness."
