Roadtrip Nation seeks to connect students’ education to real world

Roadtrip Nation http://www.roadtripnation.org/ strives to combat high school dropout issues by connecting student learning to the real world. The non-profit educational organization, a new America’s Promise Alliance partner, provides an interactive and project-based curriculum to empower students to get out into their communities to bring relevance to their coursework.

Established in 2001, Roadtrip Nation was the brainchild of three friends who set out to travel the country in a green RV to interview and learn from leaders across the country. After 500,000 miles and 1,000 interviews, the organization has listened to countless inspiring stories and gained invaluable insights to help young people stay engaged and define their path in life.
