Updated power lines hold key to Idaho growth

The head of the Office of Energy Resources says upgrading the transmission grid should be a top priority.

Why: If the state doesn’t expand its current transmission capacity, Idaho won’t be prepared to accommodate future industrial growth, he said. "When new businesses come, they want to be able to go to the wholesale market and move energy to them."
