Crafting the future high school curriculum

Scuba in a new aquatics center?

Dance in professional-grade studio?

Biology in a greenhouse?

Educators were asked to dream big during discussions held last week to plan future high school programming.

About 50 teachers, counselors and school administrators hammered out specific courses to fit into the planned Center for Advanced and Professional Studies (CAPS). CAPS will offer academic and vocational courses to juniors and seniors from the district’s four high schools.
