India dreams come true in Fife, Washington for Ames International owner

In Fife, in the candy factory and headquarters of the company he built, George Paulose can look out the window and see … Fife.

In India, in the manufacturing and distribution center he recently opened, Paulose can look out the window and see through the mist across green hills toward the sky above the isolated village where as a boy he dreamed of America.

By way of an Indian education and later a job in the pulp and paper industry, Paulose settled with his family in Federal Way. He founded Ames International in his garage. Friends provided early capital.
