Gov. Gregoire to Gov. Perry of Texas: "Don’t mess with Washington"

Washington Gov. Chris Gregoire has a message for Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who has sent letters to Amazon.com, Starbucks, Microsoft and other Washington businesses inviting them to relocate to the Lone Star State, where there is no state income tax.

Perry’s move comes days before Washington voters will decide on the fate of Initiative 1098, which would create an income tax for individuals earning $200,000 a year and joint-filers earning $400,000 a year.
