Qwest Montana Awards iPad Grant to Arrowhead 5th Grade Class – "Teachers and Technology Grant Program"

It’s hard to beat the jumbo novelty check.

When David Gibson, president of Qwest in Montana http://www.qwest.com/residential/montana/index.html , walked into Courtney Hill’s classroom at Arrowhead Elementary on Tuesday morning carrying one, students immediately began talking excitedly.

When he handed it to Hill – representing the $7,100 technology grant she’d been awarded – the students clapped.

When Gibson announced the money would be used to buy iPads for the classroom, they cheered.

"This is so awesome," Hill said. The presentation was a surprise.
