Highlights from Montana Senator Baucus’ Recent Trip to China
Montana’s Senior U.S. Senator Max Baucus recently returned from a week-long visit to China to explore ways to open new markets for Montana ranchers, farmers, manufacturers and energy leaders to trade their world-class products. While in China Baucus met with Chinese energy and business leaders, including a former Montana rancher now living in China, and the following top government officials: Vice President Xi Jinping, Vice Premier Wang Qishan, Minister of Commerce Chen Deming, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi, and Vice Governor of the People’s Bank of China, Yi Gang.
