The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

I recently had a conversation with Paul Anderson, Montana’s Teacher of the Year. Paul has taught just about every subject but one of the reasons he was chosen for this award was his initiative in putting lessons on youtube and his efforts to bring more technology into the classroom.

While our school systems have been waging a war against smart phones, electronic notepads, tablets and even e-readers, Paul was pushing for acceptance and even embracing these. Our conversation was around getting high school students interested in entrepreneurship.
