Wi-Fi on steroids. – FCC gives go-ahead to ‘super Wi-Fi’ on TV frequencies

Super Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi on steroids. WhiteFi.
These are a few of the names given to an emerging technology for broadcasting high-speed wireless Internet networks over long distances. The Federal Communications Commission on Thursday approved new technical rules for using of the unused broadcast spectrum between television frequencies, also known as "white space."
