Out-Of-Towners Spend Big At Missoula Marathon

A recent report indicates the Missoula Marathon http://www.runwildmissoula.org/index.php/fuseaction/missoulaMarathon.main.htm brought in big bucks from out of town runners. A study by the University of Montana says the race raked in over a million dollars.

Researchers came up with the dollar figure by asking out-of-towners how much they spent in Missoula on the weekend of the race.

That is up from around $200,000 in 2007.
