Kevin Michael Connolly http://kevinmichaelconnolly.com/double-take/ , who once insisted he didn’t want to be an inspirational guy, got a hero’s welcome Wednesday night at Montana State University from thousands of people amazed by his life story and indomitable spirit.

Connolly, a 2008 MSU graduate, was born without legs. Yet the Helena native still won skiing medals and traveled the world by himself with his skateboard, his camera and don’t-quit determination, as chronicled in his 2009 book, "Double Take."
