Yellowstone, Glacier building work making Valier, Montana’s Swank a national park player
August 23, 2010 /
Construction is different when the nearest hardware store is a 2 1/2-hour snowmobile ride away, home is a "man camp" and any worker who looks the least bit official can expect a barrage of tourist questions.
"Everything in Yellowstone (National Park) is challenging, whether it’s working in winter, providing living quarters, material delivery, traffic, the weather, maintaining morale or feeding the crew," project superintendent Josh Mullaney of Swank Enterprises http://www.swankenterprises.com/ said recently.
Swank, a Valier-based company, is gaining a reputation for its national parks work.
