No place like Missoula, Montana for triathlete Linsey Corbin

They sent a crew to Zoo Town to see Linsey Corbin in her native habitat.

She’s a rare breed. A world-class triathlete who doesn’t flock with her peers at popular warm- weather nesting spots like San Diego, Tucson and Boulder.

So the folks from Inside Triathlon magazine jumped a plane from SoCal just to see what makes Corbin tick. Maybe unlock a mystery or two about this friendly gal with the heart of a lion.

They tagged along for trail workouts and maneuvers up majestic mountains. Linsey and husband Chris took them fly fishing, sightseeing and dining at Big Sky Brewery Company.

The end result is a spectacular 11-page spread in the September/October edition of Inside Triathlon. Entitled "The Hard Way," it focuses on Corbin’s commitment to live in Missoula and journey to a breakthrough Ironman win in June with a course-record time of 9:17.54 in Coeur d’Alene.
