Montana Career Opportunity – Design Engineer CAD – possess strong background in advanced and Solid Works Cad systems. Nomad Global Communication Solutions, Inc.

Design Engineer, full time, $14-20 DOE. Will be actively involved in the design of emergency management communication vehicles. Individuals filling the Design Engineer position must have strong CAD experience, advanced in SolidWorks & have the ability take direction from & collaborate with two (2) to four (4) Engineers, & Production staff in an efficient team environment.

The Design Engineer’s work is the primary stage in the Engineering process. They are responsible for creating parts & assemblies and compiling them into complete production-ready project models. Accuracy & completeness must be maintained through all levels of construction in order to provide the Draftspersons sufficient details for their drawings, complete BOMs for Purchasing & procedural layouts for Production.

Design Engineer will also be required to produce CAD depending on project load & needs within the company. All steps within the Design Engineer’s construction must meet or exceed Nomad GCS’ standards of excellence. Must possess or show a strong willingness to learn the process timelines for the standard vehicles constructed at Nomad (Dispatch, Responder and ICs).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands & arms to finger, handle, feel, reach or operate objects, tools or controls. The employee is required to be able to sit for the majority of their work day.
