Government and private-sector partnerships may create more jobs, an Idaho tech leader says.

A Utah program has spawned thousands of jobs by building a network between research and the private sector, and Idaho could benefit from their work, the head of an Idaho technology advocacy group says.

Jay Larsen, president of the Idaho Technology Council http://www.idahotechcouncil.org/ , traveled to Salt Lake City last week to meet with members of the Utah Tech Council http://www.utahtechcouncil.org/ , discuss challenges and successes, and share best practices.
