Logo for Great Falls’ downtown picked

It took almost seven months and some tough decision-making, but a new logo for downtown Great Falls is now official.

The logo, crafted by Paige Lampen, an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer with NeighborWorks Great Falls, made its public debut Thursday.

"The minute you see it, you recognize a tie to downtown," said Joan Redeen of the Great Falls Business Improvement District.

The BID and the Great Falls Development Authority so-licited for entries for a downtown logo in January.
