Montana manufacturers see ‘buds of recovery’

Business is booming for Bequet Confections, a gourmet caramel manufacturer in Bozeman.

So much so, that the candy company recently moved into a new 8,300-square-foot factory — more than double the size of their former facility.

"We outgrew our old facility two years ago," said Robin Bequet, owner of the company.

While Bequet thrived during the recession, that hasn’t been the case for all of Montana’s manufacturing industry.
