Four Montana Colleges to launch wind energy technician programs

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

Four colleges in Montana will now be able to offer a new program for students the coming school year.

The Sustainable Energy Technician program will educate students on the rapidly-growing industry of wind energy.

The Montana Board of Regents approved the program for MSU-Great Falls, MSU-Northern in Havre, MSU-Billings, and Montana Tech College of Technology in Butte.
