May is the kickoff to the rafting season on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River http://glacierraftco.com/rivers.htm , which borders Glacier National Park in Montana, this spring time runoff creates spectacular class II-IV rapids, perfect for adventurous whitewater rafting.
