University of Washington gets $120 million defense contract

The U.S. Navy Friday awarded a $120.4 million contract to the University of Washington’s Applied Physics Laboratory http://www.apl.washington.edu/ .

The contract pays for up to 657,115 staff hours through April 2015 on research, development and engineering in seven areas:
