Governor Brian Schweitzer, Superintendent of Public Instruction Denise Juneau, and Board of Public Education Chairperson Patty Myers have announced Montana will apply for a once in a lifetime Race to the Top grant from the U.S. Department of Education http://racetothetop.mt.gov/default.mcpx .

The Montana Plan allows the state to design and implement innovative changes for the future of our students, teachers, schools, and communities.
