Montana Mom’s business goes global with ‘green’ diapers – Kim Ormsby and The Natural Baby Company

Kim Ormsby was supposed to be a regional corporate executive. Maybe a veterinarian.

What she was not supposed to be was the inventor of a new kind of cloth diaper that has catapulted the growing industry forward or the founder of a natural infant care company that has grown almost exponentially each year since she started it in her Bozeman home in 2003.

That kind of success, said Ormsby, a Helena native and the Small Business Administration’s Montana 2010 Small Business Person of the Year, has come as a particularly awesome kind of surprise.
