Governor Schweitzer Announces Montana Accountability Partnership Final Four Ideas

Today, Governor Brian Schweitzer announced the final four cost savings ideas submitted as part of the Montana Accountability Partnership. The final four ideas can be voted on at http://www.governor.mt.gov from today until Wednesday, May 19th.

“We received over 1,000 cost savings ideas from people across Montana,” said Governor Schweitzer. “Montanans know that just like businesses have to streamline in tough economic times, so does state government. We will continue to be accountable for every dollar and I thank everyone who took the time to submit their idea.”

The idea receiving the most votes will be the winner of the Montana Accountability Partnership and the submitter will receive a one ounce palladium coin donated by the Stillwater Mine worth about $500. All four of the ideas will be implemented.
