Montana Department of Commerce Technology Innovation Partnership (MTIP), University of Montana, Montana State University & Techlink to Sponsor SBIR Events, May 19 (Missoula) and 20th (Bozeman)

The Montana Department of Commerce Technology Innovation Partnership (MTIP) http://www.mtip.mt.gov/ together with UM’s Tech Transfer Office http://www.umt.edu/research/techtransfer/default.aspx , MSU’s Tech Transfer Office http://www.montana.edu/wwwvr/ and TechLINK http://www.techlinkcenter.org are co-sponsoring an SBIR event in May.

The first workshop will be held in Missoula on Wednesday, May 19 at MonTEC, 1121 E. Broadway, followed the next day in Bozeman at TechLink. Both presentations will be the same. The cost is $75 which includes breaks, lunch and materials.

MTIP has contracted with Greenwood Consulting Group for these events which are open to university researchers and private technology entrepreneurs. The one-day workshop will focus on federal SBIR and STTR programs, proposal strategies, drafting, and review. A case study of a successful Montana SBIR company will also be presented.

The presentations will be provided by Jim Greenwood of Greenwood Consulting Group, a nationally well-known expert on the SBIR program. Greenwood will provide an overview of the federal SBIR & STTR programs, proposal development strategies, drafting and review.
