In Defense Of Venture Capitalists

As an eternal optimist, I wake most days with a bright perspective. Today, I woke with a particularly sunny disposition. Last night, my wife Pam and I had the privilege of seeing Citizen Cope, a terrifically talented emerging-artist whose soulful songs about the human condition brought the house down and I woke with a smile thinking about seeing such a talented young man in person. Before I headed out for my early-morning workout, I turned on his new album and sat down at my computer with a cup of my favorite french-pressed coffee to scan the morning’s stories.
