High-tech windmill spins around silently in downtown Laurel, Montana

You’ve probably scratched your head and wondered, “What is that funny looking whirligig in front of the little log building of Southeast Fourth Street?”
It’s a vertical axis wind turbine that powers an electric generator and provides enough electricity to power an average household. Ron Reitler operates Advanced Energy Technology of Montana out of the building that used to be a hot dog shop.
