Persistence pays off for Montana’s high-tech entrepreneurs – Wheeler Economic Conference

High-tech entrepreneurs need to be persistent, flexible and undeterred by initial failure, according to four such Montana business folks who spoke to a Wheeler Center http://www.wheelercenter.org audience Tuesday in Bozeman.

Obtaining capital more easily from banks, venture capitalists or even government wouldn’t hurt, they added, though some of them believe the government should primarily simplify regulations, better educate students and get out of the way of growing businesses.

Speakers had differing views on whether being from Montana helped or hindered them in dealing with potential urban and international customers, and all provided suggestions on how to excite a younger generation of employees.
