Teams of University of Montana business students available to analyze business challenges and implement solutions
The University of Montana has many business students looking for hands-on opportunities to show their skills. The students are young, bright, energetic, and are armed with current business knowledge. One area with which students need help is real-world business experience.
Many classes at UM seek projects with area businesses and nonprofits to fill this need. One class, called “Project Management,” has been doing information system projects for businesses for quite some time. The students create information systems to help solve problems.
Teams of students utilize project management techniques to keep a project on time, on task, and on budget. The class instructor provides guidance, but the teams are responsible for analyzing, designing, and completing the project.
