Montana’s students at the head of the class in "Nation’s Report Card"

The "Nation’s Report Card" has been released, and Montana’s students are scoring higher than the national average, according to the recent National Assessment of Educational Progress report.
The testing covers subjects including arts, civics, geography, reading, science and math. About 21,000 students in the fourth and eighth grades, across Montana, took the test.
Montana’s fourth graders ranked sixth in the nation, while Montana’s eighth graders came in third.
