University of Montana-Western teams up with Bitterroot college

Students going to the Bitterroot College program seeking a higher education degree or certificate can finally earn that parchment without having to leave the valley – thanks to a satellite program of University of Montana-Western.

A pair of courses covering early childhood development is listed on the Bitterroot College Program of the University of Montana Web site as “UM Western in Hamilton – Spring 2010 Courses.”

Students enrolling in those courses could finish a one-year certificate program or a 24-credit, two-year associate’s degree in early childhood, said Victoria Clark, interim director of the Bitterroot College Program (BCP).
