Missoula Community Theatre invites laid-off Smurfit workers to free showing of "Sunshine Boys"

As the founder and CEO of the Missoula Community Theatre http://www.mctinc.org/ , Jim Caron feels the pain that hundreds of Smurfit-Stone employees are going through.

And though the arts icon is in no position to help them financially, he is in a position to spread a little sunshine.

The laid-off employees and their families will be the guests of a special – and free – production of the Neil Simon play, “The Sunshine Boys,” which opens next month.

“What we can do for them is do what MCT does,” said Caron. “Which is, frankly, to cheer them up.”
