Montana Superintendent of Schools Denise Juneau tours Butte schools to see success of anti-bullying program

Just a few years ago, lunchtime at East Middle School often led to trouble.

"Every two to three weeks, we’d have a knockdown fight," Keith Miller, assistant principal, said Tuesday.

But after three years of an intensive anti-bullying program and with the help of a school resource officer, that’s been cut down dramatically, Miller told Montana Superintendent of Schools Denise Juneau.
