Triangle Communications Receives $47 Million Loan to Boost Rural Montana Broadband

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development and Triangle Communications will hold an event at 2 p.m. today in the cooperative’s office at 2121 Highway 2 N.W. in recognition of the 60th Anniversary of the USDA’s telecommunications loan program.

Rural Development recently approved its 25th loan to Triangle Communications http://www.itstriangle.com/ in the amount of $47 million. These funds will be used to provide new broadband connections to rural Montana residents within Triangle’s service area.
