Small businesses in Richland County and around the state, it seems, are faring better than expected despite an economic downturn, Richland Economic Development members learned Thursday evening during the annual meeting.

Members at the banquet listened to Michelle Johnston, Montana district director of the U.S. Small Business Administration in Helena http://www.matr.net/click.php?id=&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sba.gov%2Fmt%2F , who spoke on the administration’s duties, its partnerships and its progress.
