Montana Career Opportunity – Director – Mountain-Pacific Quality Health

Mountain-Pacific Quality Health is seeking a Director, Regional Extension Center for Health Information Technology. Degree in Business Administration; Public Health Administration; Health Informatics; Information Technology with a health background, or similar degree or background required.

Experience managing government contracts or grants or experience owning or managing a business associated with Health Information Technology and/or significant business experience in the health care field preferred. The Director will be responsible for overseeing, directing, and managing a federal grant charged with achieving the implementation and use of electronic health records in 1,000 primary care physician offices in Montana and Wyoming by January, 2013.

The Helena-based position will train and supervise up to 20 staff persons located in both states. Salary: $100,000 to 120,000 per year. Upon successful award of the grant, the position will begin January 1, 2010.
