Montana Entrepreneurs: Concern about drug abuse inspires business – Awareness Drug Detection

"Trust but verify."

That was Ronald Reagan’s policy for getting through the Cold War with the Soviets. And it’s not a bad policy for employers or for families with children experimenting with drugs, said Tracy Hansen, owner of Awareness Drug Detection http://www.awarenessdrugdetection.com.

Hansen was director of the men’s shelter in Billings for more than a decade and saw firsthand the wages of drug addiction. He wants to help families and addicts avoid that trouble. He can also help business owners and managers maintain a drug-free work environment.

"While we were able to help some individuals escape from the substance abuse syndrome during my tenure at the shelter, the best way to attack the problem is prevention, detection and intervention," he said. "And, like the battle against cancer, the earlier the better."

Awareness Drug Detection is located at 710 Grand Ave. Suite 2 and can be reached at 850-3921 or through its Web site, http://www.awarenessdrugdetection.com.
