Casper, Wyoming incubator holds promise

Starting a new business and diversifying the local economy both are daunting tasks rife with opportunities for failure.

Thanks to a new project spearheaded by Casper College and the Casper Area Economic Development Alliance, both the community and start-up companies will soon have a leg up in meeting those challenges.

Officials announced earlier this month that the financing package is complete for a business incubator in Casper. The final piece was a $2 million grant from the federal Economic Development Administration, rounding out the total $10.5 million to get the project rolling.
