Snowy Mountain Development gets USDA grant to encourage economic development in rural areas.

Snowy Mountain Development Corp. http://www.snowymtndev.com/pages/ was selected for two federal grants totaling $63,000 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The funds are meant to encouraging economic development in rural areas.

The federal agency announced Thursday that the Lewistown economic development group was one of 58 groups that will receive a portion of $8 million as part of the rural business enterprise program.
