Parents as Teachers develops young minds – Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies, The Montana Coalition

Most of a child’s brain development happens between conception and age 3, and the Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies http://hmhb-mt.org/ Parents as Teachers program wants children to reach their maximum potential by the time they enter kindergarten.

"It’s a critical time," said Bobi Grensten, Parents as Teachers program supervisor.

The nonprofit agency serves 19 families in Cascade County, and approximately 55 children throughout the community. With only four parent educators, it is maxed out for families the program can serve.
