Company uses state grant to recruit Wyoming residents
September 15, 2009 /
A Colorado-based company is taking advantage of a state program to help recruit workers across Wyoming.
The company, Alpine Access, pays people to answer customer service calls from their homes. As employees of Alpine Access and not "independent contractors," they’re detailed to one of Alpine’s clients and only work on a single project.
Clients include Wal-Mart, Citi Bank, and Lowe’s Home Improvement. Alpine has more than 3,000 employees.
