Rallying for a cause – The Going to the Sun Rally Brings Vintage Vehicles to Montana

Roland Duce, of Nottingham, England, had his 1956 Aston Martin DB3/S flown to the United States so he could drive it through some American scenery.

“There are Ferraris, Aston Martins, Jaguars, Cobras, Morgans, Mercedes, Triumphs, Mustangs,” said Dean Genge, rally director and part-time Big Sky resident. “These cars may range from $20,000 to a couple million dollars."

The Going to the Sun Rally http://www.goingtothesun.org/ , a leisurely trip rather than a race – is an annual charity event in Montana, raising money for the Montana Highway Patrol’s Fallen Officer’s Fund and other organizations in the places it passes through.
