University of Wyoming advertises nationally

Full-page advertisers in the Aug. 17 issue of Time magazine included Merck Pharmaceuticals, CNNMoney, Verizon Wireless and … the University of Wyoming http://www.uwyo.edu/ .

"Adventurous Minds Wanted," the ad says, noting that UW has a 15:1 student/faculty ratio and that 98 percent of its classes are taught by professors. The ad also mentions that UW has been recognized by the Princeton Review as a "Best of the West" school and that UW is "rated as one of the top ‘adventure colleges.’"

The ad is part of a package "bargain" which will also place UW ads in Newsweek and Sports Illustrated, among others, according to Jessica Lowell of UW’s public relations office.
